Kanker Serviks Vs Pembalut
Kanker serviks dapat dicegah dengan rutin melakukan pap smear (tes lendir yang terdapat pada leher rahim) minimal setahun sekali atau 3 bulan setelah melahirkan untuk mendeteksi ada tidaknya prakanker atau displasia maupun sel karsinoma penyebab kanker serviks. Mengkonsumsi vitamin A dan C, serta menggunakan pembalut berkualitas juga dapat mencegah timbulnya sel-sel kanker.
Pembalut Wanita
Pembalut wanita termasuk dalam kategori produk cepat saji dan produk sekali pakai. Dengan alasan sekali pakai itulah, banyak wanita di Indonesia cenderung memilih pembalut yang murah dan cukup nyaman untuk dipakai tanpa menganalisa lebih lanjut mengenai kualitas produk yang dipakai maupun resiko kesehatan yang mungkin terjadi dengan menggunakan pembalut wanita biasa.
Meninjau dari kebiasaan sebagian besar wanita Indonesia itulah, banyak produsen pembalut wanita biasa berlomba-lomba menciptakan produk pembalut maupun pantyliner dengan harga murah sehingga memancing para wanita untuk membeli produk mereka. Untuk menghasilkan produk yang murah, tentu bahan baku yang dipergunakan juga harus murah. Oleh karena itu para produsen pembalut wanita biasa banyak yang menggunakan bahan baku hasil daur ulang sampah kertas bekas.
Nah...agar hasil daur ulang sampah kertas bekas bisa tampak putih bersih, produsen pembalut wanita menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia. Bahan-bahan kimia ini juga dipergunakan untuk menghilangkan aroma sampah kertas bekas dan membunuh bakteri (sterilisasi) sampah kertas bekas tersebut.
Setelah melalui proses "pemutihan" tersebut, sampah kertas bekas tersebut dikemas sedemikian rupa untuk kemudian diperdagangkan dan dikonsumsi oleh banyak wanita yang tanpa menyadari bahaya penggunaan pembalut tersebut dalam jangka panjang.
Lebih jauh lagi, pada saat haid cairan meresap ke dalam pembalut biasa dan bercampur dengan bahan kimia. Pada saat duduk, tanpa disadari cairan yang sudah terkontaminasi bahan kimia merembes keluar, masuk ke organ kewanitaan dan selanjutnya akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah organ intim kewanitaan. Maka hati-hati jika merasa becek pada saat mengenakan pembalut.
Menurut penelitian, terdapat sebanyak 107 bakteri per milimeter persegi ditemukan di atas pembalut wanita biasa, kondisi inilah yang membuat pembalut biasa menjadi sumber sarang pertumbuhan bakteri merugikan, meski pembalut biasa hanya dipakai selama 2 jam saja. Bayangkan banyaknya bakteri pada permukaan seluas pembalut, apalagi jika dipakai lebih dari 2 jam. 107 bakteri per milimeter persegi ditemukan di atas pembalut biasa.
Oleh karena itu, uji kualitas pembalut sebelum memakainya. Lebih baik mencegah daripada mengobati. Diperlukan waktu yang panjang dan biaya yang tidak murah untuk mengobati infeksi pada organ intim kewanitaan.
Cara menguji kualitas pembalut:
1. Koyak pembalut dan ambil bagian inti / dalamnya
2. Tuang air putih ke dalam wadah (bisa gelas atau mangkok) bening
3. Masukkan sebagian dari inti pembalut ke dalam wadah yang berisi air putih lalu aduk
4. Perhatikan perubahan warna air dan bagian inti pembalut
5. Jika air berubah menjadi keruh dan bagian inti pembalut hancur, maka sudah bisa dipastikan kualitas pembalut buruk dan mengandung pemutih / dioxin yang berbahaya karena merupakan pemicu timbulnya berbagai gangguan kewanitaan seperti: keputihan, iritasi, aroma yang tidak sedap, bahkan kanker mulut rahim / serviks yang menjadi pembunuh nomor 1 bagi wanita Indonesia (berdasarkan data dari WHO, Indonesia merupakan negara dengan angka penderita kanker serviks tertinggi di dunia dan 62% di antaranya disebabkan karena penggunaan pembalut / pantyliner tidak berkualitas)

I really loved the book by jacqueline wilson. her book is very interesting, not boring. but I'm hard to find a book in a bookstore, the average book in the bookstore I already have. I want to find the store a more complete book, but very far from my home-__-

Jacqueline Wilson
Jacqueline Wilson was born in Bath in 1945 and spent her childhood in Kingston-on-Thames, where she still lives today as a full-time writer. She was educated at Coombe Girls School, Surrey, relocating to Dundee to start work as a teenage journalist with D C Thomson, writing for Jackie teenage magazine, which was named after her.
She has written many books for children, and her sensitive understanding of modern children, the way they live and the problems they encounter, together with her sense of humour, have made her an extremely popular author, particularly with the nine to eleven year age range. She has sold over ten million books, which have been translated into over thirty languages, and at one point in 2000, six of her books were listed among the top ten bestselling children's paperbacks.
Her books include The Story of Tracy Beaker (1991) and its sequel, The Dare Game (2000), which tell the story of a child who lives in residential and foster care; The Bed and Breakfast Star (1994), about a family living in bed-and-breakfast accommodation; and The Illustrated Mum (1999), who is covered in tattoos and has multiple boyfriends. Bad Girls (1996) deals with the subject of bullying, and Double Act (1995), is about identical twins with very different personalities. Her latest books include The Worry Website (2002), a collection of short stories for children aged eight to twelve years, Lola Rose (2003), which deals with the topic of domestic violence within a family, The Diamond Girls (2004) and Clean Break (2005). Her latest books are the autobiographical My Secret Diary (2009), and Hetty Feather (2009).
Jacqueline Wilson has written readers and books for younger children as well as radio plays for the BBC. Her series of books for older readers, Girls in Love (1997), Girls Under Pressure (1998), Girls Out Late (1999), and Girls in Tears (2002) has recently been made into a thirteen-part television series, broadcast on ITV. She wrote her own screen adaptation of Double Act for Channel 4, which won the Royal TV Society Best Children's Fiction Award, and The Story of Tracy Beaker has had three television series.
Her books have also been adapted for radio - namely The Bed and Breakfast Star, The Story of Tracy Beaker and The Dare Game, all of which have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Stage adaptations of The Lottie Project (1997) and Double Act are now touring nationally.
